ORIENTAL VAPE

SERVICIO: BRANDING / GRAPHIC DESIGN / PHOTO-MANIPULATION

La tienda y empresa de distribución de productos relacionados con los cigarrillos electrónicos (comunmente denominado vapeo) lanzó un concurso donde solicitaba la creación de su nueva imagen corporativa. El estudio se animó a participar ya que era un reto sin restricciones y de total libertad.

Briefing

En este caso estamos ante un concurso, no hubo un briefing como tal, las únicas instrucciones eran que había que crear un logotipo atractivo para la marca Oriental Vape. El ganador sería elegido tras tres rondas, en las dos primeras las votaciones las realizarian los miembros del grupo de facebook de la marca y en la última ronda la elección la realizarían los propietarios de la empresa. Aunque no ganamos el concurso llegamos a la ronda final.

Branding

Para este concurso hicimos varias propuestas, pero finalmente nos decantamos por la que se muestra a continución. Se trata de un monograma construido a partir de la tipografía futura, donde la letra “O” de Oriental se entrelaza con la letra “V” de vape. Realizamos varios cortes donde interseccionan las letras para crear un tejido y crear esa sensación de entrelazado. El resultado es un Logotipo sencillo, sobrio y muy elegante que se reconoce con gran facilidad y es muy fácil de representar y reproducir en gran variedad de aplicaciones. Por último creamos un amplio abanico de mock-ups o simulaciones de como quedaría el logotipo aplicado a distintas propuestas de aplicación que podría llegar a usar la empresa que organizo este concurso.
